BRENDA
ROSE SIMKIN Brenda Rose has been working for Sally's Music Circle since September 2000. In addition to working at SMC, Brenda Rose sings in the Philadelphia-based chamber choir Voces Novae et Antiquae, which specializes in early music and new music by local composers. She also plans children's programs for the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Society of Friends (Quakers). Brenda Rose lives in Ardmore with her husband and two daughters. |

DAVID BRODIE David has been working at Sally's Music Circle since December 2002. In addition to working at SMC, he is also a freelance bass player. David graduated from Berklee College of Music. David lives in Philadelphia and speaks fluent Spanish. |

DENISE MONTANA Denise has been working at Sally's Music Circle since 1993. Teaching young children continues to fill her heart with joy. In addition to working at SMC, Denise is a double platinum recording artist for the classic perennial favorite, "Merry Christmas All" which is included on many Christmas compilation CD's. She has headlined at the Academy of Music in Philly, The Copa Cabana in New York, appeared in many Jazz festivals, cabarets, theatres and TV commercials. Her new CD, IN MY LIFE, is currently playing on WRTI-90.1 FM. Denise lives in Havertown with her husband Tom (also an SMC teacher) and their son John. JANNA KANE
Janna has been working at Sally's Music Circle since December 1995. In addition to working at SMC, she has been touring with Artisan Residence throughout the Maryland School Districts. She has also been performing with her two bands, Out of Bounds and Do It Duo. Janna sings Jazz and has done so at the Four Season's Hotel as well as other locations in downtown clubs. Janna has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education for Speech, Theater and English from the State University at Oswego. She currently lives in Media. Her son, Ben, is currently studying at NYU for Music Technology. |

JUDY MAC Judy Mac has been with Sally’s Music Circle since 1997. In addition to working for SMC, she has a children’s birthday party business and also performs at school programs and community events entertaining with music and storytelling. Judy also fronts an original, progressive rock band. A proud grandmother of Emily and Riley, Judy is also an accomplished triathlete. SALLY WEAVER Founder and director of Sally's Music Circle, Sally received her Masters and Ph.D. in Music Education from Temple University and has taught music classes to young children and their families since 1983. Before specializing in early childhood music education, Sally received her Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Michigan and was an elementary beginning band teacher in Colorado. Her current interests are studying early childhood learning differences, making an SMC video and working on a third year of SMC CDs. She lives in Narberth with her husband and two sons. |

STEPHANIE FLIEGEL
NOLAN Stephanie has been working at Sally's Music Circle since December 1997. In addition to working at SMC, Stephanie has been a professional vocalist since 1985 and currently sings and plays guitar with her acoustic blues band, Stevie and the Bluescasters. She also works at nursery and pre-school programs throughout the area as well as in the Philadelphia Family Court with children and their parents. Stephanie is a graduate of Goddard College of Vermont with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Literature and Dance. She lives in the Germantown section of Philadelphia with her husband, Paul, their teenage twins, Gaby and Kyle, two cats, and a wonderful Bernese Mountain dog named Diesel. |

TOM PICKARD Tom has been working at Sally's Music Circle since September 1993. In addition to working at SMC, Tom has run a very successful party business, Tom's Music Fun, since 1993. He is a graduate of Columbia School of Broadcasting. Tom was given an Honorable discharge from the US Navy as Musician Second Class in 1965. Tom has been teaching music to children for the past ten years. He currently lives in Havertown with his wife and fellow SMC teacher Denise and their son John.
